the lack of customization on social media has been frustrating me for a long while, and this only seems to be getting worse with the existence of website-building sites such as squ*respace, w*x, or god forbid, strawpage . even places like tumblr, initially high customization, have faded into the typical corporate minimalism. this website's existence is a form of rebellion against that.
