first post, yay! i'm going to be honest, i struggled with this for quite some time, but i've managed to successfully create a blog. no, we don't need to talk about what my homepage looks like right now— that's not of relevance. i must admit, i went through quite an array of aesthetics for my page while creating this blog. i was considering a 60s mod aesthetic, with twiggy, the beatles, and my 60s-ish inspired sonic oc, poppy, but i spent far too long trying to get the colors on that to look actually, ya know, good. now, i'm leaning into more gothic aesthetics, e.g elvira, siouxsie and the banshees, the cure, the addams family, whatever cool blinkies i can find on 2010s spacehey accounts... stuff like that!

anyway, i really should be getting to bed, considering i started writing this post at 2:00 and it's now 2:14. will i be going to bed? probably not. i'm actually having a great time designing this website, i'm on a roll!
